Department of Chemistry Est. 1966

Established in 1966, the Department of Chemistry offers undergraduate, integrated and postgraduate programmes under NEP 2020 and CBCS, supported by well-equipped laboratories, ICT-enabled classrooms and a departmental library. The department has an excellent record of academic progression and of achievement in extra-curricular fields such as art, literature and culture.

Academic Programmes

The department offers the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) with Major and Minor options under NEP 2020, B.Sc. Honours and General courses under the CBCS curriculum, the Integrated M.Sc. Programme, and M.Sc. in Chemistry under NEP 2020.
